Basics
Getting Started
Tap "Sign Up," enter your email or phone number, set a password, and verify your email. You can start browsing immediately. To book or list, you'll need to complete KYC verification.
After verifying your account, go to your dashboard and tap "Create Store." Fill in your store name, description, and location. Once approved, you'll get your own subdomain (e.g., your-store.pahiram.ph) where renters can browse your listings.
Every lender store gets a unique web address like yourstore.pahiram.ph. This is your dedicated storefront — renters can visit it directly to see all your listings. It also appears in search results.
Browsing is open to everyone. To rent or list equipment, you must complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification by uploading a valid Philippine government ID. This keeps the platform safe for everyone.
Renters
For Renters
Everything you need to know about finding, booking, and returning rental items.
Use the search bar on the homepage or browse by category. You can filter by location, price range, availability dates, and ratings. Each listing shows photos, specs, pricing, and the lender's reviews.
Find a listing, select your rental dates, and tap "Book Now." You'll see a price breakdown including any deposits. Choose your payment method and confirm. The lender will accept or decline within 24 hours.
We accept GCash, Maya, bank transfer, credit/debit cards, and cash on pickup (where the lender allows it). Payment method availability may vary by listing.
Yes. Cancellation policies are set by each lender and displayed on the listing page before you book. Common policies include free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup, or a partial refund for later cancellations. Check the specific listing for details.
Document the condition at pickup — take photos and note any existing damage in the app. If there's pre-existing damage not disclosed in the listing, report it immediately through in-app messaging. We'll mediate if needed.
Be honest and report it immediately via the platform. The lender may file a damage claim. Deposits cover minor issues. For significant damage, our dispute resolution team will help both parties reach a fair outcome.
Lenders
For Lenders
Tips and answers for listing items, managing bookings, and getting paid.
Go to your store dashboard and tap "Add Listing." Upload clear photos, write a description, set your daily/weekly rates, define availability, and choose a cancellation policy. The more detail you provide, the more bookings you'll get.
Research what similar items rent for on the platform. Consider offering weekly discounts for longer rentals. Factor in wear and tear, and don't forget to account for your deposit amount. Competitive pricing + great photos = more bookings.
You'll receive notifications for new booking requests. Review the renter's profile and verification status, then accept or decline within 24 hours. Accepted bookings are confirmed and payment is processed.
Payouts are released after the rental is completed and both parties confirm the item was returned in good condition. Processing takes 1-3 business days depending on your payout method.
First, try to resolve it directly through in-app messaging. If that doesn't work, open a formal dispute through the platform. Provide photos, messages, and any evidence. Our team will review and mediate a resolution.

Verification, passwords, and keeping your account safe.
We require a valid Philippine government ID (passport, driver's license, PhilSys ID, UMID, or voter's ID). Upload a clear photo of your ID and a selfie for matching. Verification typically completes within 24 hours.
Tap "Forgot Password" on the login page, enter your email, and follow the reset link sent to your inbox. If you don't receive it, check spam or contact support.
Yes. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Active bookings must be completed or cancelled first. Account deletion is permanent — your data will be removed per our privacy policy.
Yes. Enable 2FA in Settings > Security. We support authenticator apps and SMS verification for an extra layer of protection on your account.
Money
Payments
How payments, refunds, and deposits work on Pahiram.
GCash, Maya, bank transfer (BDO, BPI, UnionBank, and more), credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), and cash on pickup where allowed by the lender.
Payment is processed when the lender accepts your booking request. If the lender declines or doesn't respond within 24 hours, no charge is made.
Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days. GCash and Maya refunds may appear faster. Bank and card refunds depend on your provider but typically take 5-10 business days.
Some lenders require a refundable deposit, shown in the booking total. The deposit is held in escrow and returned after the rental ends — assuming the item is returned in the agreed condition. If there's a damage claim, the deposit may be partially or fully applied.

How we keep the community safe and what to do if something goes wrong.
All renters and lenders must complete KYC verification with a Philippine government ID. We verify identity, cross-check information, and maintain a review system so the community can self-police as well.
Contact support immediately at support@pahiram.ph or through in-app messaging. Provide your booking ID, screenshots, and a description of what happened. We take fraud seriously and will investigate promptly.
Go to the user's profile and tap "Report." Select the reason and provide details. You can also report directly from a booking or listing page. All reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team.
